Pour-over coffee with a V60

Brew a clean, bright V60 pour-over in about three minutes: 15g coffee to 250g water, a 45-second bloom, then slow concentric pours. Aim to finish your draw-down by 2:45.

  1. Rinse & dose

    Prep

    Rinse the paper filter with hot water, discard it, add 15g of medium-fine coffee and level the bed.

  2. Bloom

    Pour45 g93°C

    Start the timer and pour 45g of water (92 to 94°C). Swirl gently and let it bloom for 45 seconds.

    Pour150 g93°C

    Pour in slow concentric circles to 150g total by 1:15.

    Pour250 g93°C

    Pour to 250g total by about 1:45, keeping the bed even.

    Let it draw down. Aim for the bed to go dry around 2:45. Swirl, serve, taste.
